    From what I know… the 3 they went for said NO. I’ve heard a few different back up, back up candidates.

    This is what I've heard as well. School not willing to commit to what is needed.

    Yep! The leadership at the school currently is very academic based and won’t break the bank for sports. The principal at Ms and at Mc are in a rat race to see who can get to the BOE office first. So, that makes it all interesting as well.

    Is this why Jon Clark left in the first place? I thought he had done a really nice job during his time there and was at least a little surprised when this job came open.

    He left because he can’t get along with anyone.

    There is lots of truth to this.  His entire defensive staff left before last season, and alot of it had to do with this.  Will be interesting on who they hire.  What hurts them now, is that Madison Central looks to have it together with their football program.    Southern has reaped the benefits of their woes (i.e. Damian Harris transferring to Madison Southern from one of the Central middle schools) .  That isn't the case now.  

    Plus there is always the possibility of the next realignment really hurting Madison Southern -- Scott Co schools and FD could wind up in their district.  It's all a crap shoot with that.
