Bengals vs. Steeler Schedule Updates

Featured Replies

It was supposed to be announced today. Has anyone heard what time the Bengals Steelers game will be next Sunday? I'm fine with 100PM or 800PM, but it kind of stinks trying to make NY EVE plans IMO...

A friend of mine emailed Geoff Hobson. He said that the decision would come today (Christmas) at the earliest.

Night game could be very anticlimatic if the Jets win today and next Sun.

I would think tonight's game could decide the time.

I'm hearing they are the late game pick as of right now. Tonight could make that change, so they haven't announced it yet...

I think it'll be a choice between Cincy/Pitt and KC/Jacksonville.

I don't see the logic behind KC/JAX? My guess is Bengals/Steelers if the Jets lose tonight, and likely a NFC playoff contest if Miami wins...

Because either KC/Jacksonville WILL be 9-7 guaranteed. So should the Jets lose tonight there is some chance that that game will be for a playoff spot. Good even matched teams and a shot at the playoffs. I didn't say they would get it, just that I think there may be some consideration. I'd choose Cincy/Pitt too.

I'm a little confused by your last statement. Bengals/Steelers if the Jets lose, NFC playoff contest if Miami wins? Isn't that the same result? Were you saying it's for an AFC slot if Miami wins?

Oops. I meant NFC contest if Miami lost. My bad. My argument against KC/Jacksonville is that they are below the Bengals and could be eliminated before the game. I doubt they take that chance...

Bengals.com says the game is at 1.

Oh well, If we are not going to make the playoffs, I'll settle on some (more) nice revenge on the Steelers!!!:fire:

If the Bengals can't show up and beat Denver for a playoff berth what makes you think they'll show up next Sunday playing to end the season against the Steeler's? Just a thought!

Green Bay/Chicago is not a bad choice. If the Giants lose, then it's for a playoff spot with a Packer win. If the Giants win, they'll hype it as the possible last game for Favre.

1) Playing at home

2) It's Pittsburgh

3) Pittsburgh is no Denver
