The Courier-Journal had what colleges the 1st team all-staters are going to/ recruiting them.

What about the 2nd and 3rd team players?????????

Come on Ram...you know better than that...while your explanation may sound nice, that is not why Nick was not on the all district team.

Well, what do you think? Why was Petrino 1st team All-State but not 1st team All-District?

Congrats to Dalton Cissell, R.D. Reynolds and Jimmy Blandford from North Bullitt for making HM. Three kids that will make some noise in 4A playoffs next season!

I'm glad he made second team but is it to much to ask to spell a last name correctly.

I agree

Can you recall a first team all stater not being all district?

You might want to read the fine print in the paper. The fact is that 95% of the votes were cast prior to the final. So I guess winning state isn't the factor that you claim it is.

After the third round, to impartial observers the 4A playoffs were over. You know that. Besides, like I said, Tandy was eliminated in the first round.

There have been a couple in years past

Sean Grimm should have been higher than honorable mention. IMO

Congratulations to Brad Durham from Rockcastle Co for making the 1st team all state off. line. Brad placed 2nd in the vote list of all players. Also congratulations to Scott Daugherty on 2nd team DL and to honorable mention Dusty Miller RB and Shawn Childress WR. Dusty had 2524 yds rushing his senior year. Shawn would have been higher but the Rock didn't throw a lot of passes this year. He would have been a 1st teamer on any team that had a QB that had a great arm.

Way to go Nick! We will miss you! Also congrats to the three Rocks, Sam Robey, Great Dane Spoekler and Ryan "Stiches" Tydlacka for making first team.

Congrats to Raceland's QB Scott Grizzle and Linebacker J.T. Forrest for making HM! I knew once the coaches got some votes these two would have to be mentioned. Two great players who had excellent high school careers. Congrats to all who made the team!!!

:thumb: Well deserving!!

Way to go South Oldham players Joe Gamsky 2nd team LB/DE and Seth Gordon -Honorable Mention RB. Both did a great job over the last 3 years.

Congrats to all the players from eastern ky who made it and/or got honorable mention! Great Job! :ylsuper:

Thanks to all those who voted for Blake James from Harlan (2nd team Center). Great Career #56. We are very proud of you!:thumb:

I had forgotten about those. I think Vic did miss two or three district games in 2005 though and he was named first team all district returner this year. Nevertheless, an equal snub.
