Well we are only 12 days out from the Bengals 2021-22 season. I think it is a good opener and good chance to start the season off with a win. Looking forward to it. I would love to be in the hunt to make the playoffs, but that may be a little ambitious. I always enjoying watching them win, lose, or draw. It can get frustrating at times but it is still a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I seriously believe that the Bengals can have a decent year if the O-line can do a better job this year of protecting Burrow. Go Bengals!!

I'm picking the Vikings.  I see them as more balanced than the Bengals to start the season.  I honestly don't think the Bengals offense is ready, including Burrow.  Three plays was not enough (from last Sunday).  On the other hand, I do feel good that the Bengals defense has improved - the first team unit (not the reserves)!

I am out of the loop on this. Are there no NFL games this week? Are they taking a week off between the end of preseason and the regular season?

Bengals with a trade to try and improve the D-line.   Billy Price sent to the Giants for B.J. Hill.

Correct they are taking a week off. Instead of having the 4th pre season game, they get that week completely off. So basically two full weeks to get ready for the first game. The regular season now though goes  up to January 9th. So the Bengals will be playing at least two January games this year. 

Vikes, just because I'm not sure Cincinnati knows who they are yet.   I wouldn't be shocked, however, in the Bengals squeaked out a victory.

I liked the tribute the NFL did to honor 9-11.

Vikings get the ball to start the game.

My goodness less than 3 minutes in and the Vikings have had 4 penalties.

The Bengals defense force a punt after only one first down. Let's see what the offense can do.
