Couple that with the stigma of "mobile" quarterbacks in the NFL, he was going to have to be elite to stay on a roster and he's far from that.

I agree with your assessment and I like Cam too but felt he rubbed people the wrong way too often.

August 31, 20215 yr And Cam is obviously better than Brian Hoyer, or whoever the New England reserve QB is, but you couldn't have Cam as a backup to a rookie. Life comes at your fast. Ever since Cam was beaten to hell in the Superbowl a few years back, it has been a precipitous decline with his career.
