snakesnot_2000 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Yep, New England decides to go with Mac Jones.

I like Cam, but he's always come across as one of those "it's everyone else's fault" type of guys. Couple that with the stigma of "mobile" quarterbacks in the NFL, he was going to have to be elite to stay on a roster and he's far from that. 2

I agree with your assessment and I like Cam too but felt he rubbed people the wrong way too often.
bugatti Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Could see this coming a mile away. With Cam's recent COVID hiatus (sure, it was a "misunderstanding"), the writing was on the wall. Coach Hoodie has zero patience for people he can't rely upon. 3
bugatti Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 And Cam is obviously better than Brian Hoyer, or whoever the New England reserve QB is, but you couldn't have Cam as a backup to a rookie. Life comes at your fast. Ever since Cam was beaten to hell in the Superbowl a few years back, it has been a precipitous decline with his career. 1

The Raven Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Someone may give him a shot. My guess would be Dallas or the Raiders.

bugatti Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Not sure the logistics of it all, but it seems natural he could find his way to a shaky QB situation like Houston or Denver.
theguru Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Whatever happens I hope Cam gets in a situation to start.
