    Trial in the Crystal Rogers case starts today in Bowling Green, with Brooks Houck and the other Lawson being tried for her disappearance and murder.

    Closing arguments expected Monday. I'd expect a verdict by Tuesday afternoon. 

    Brooks Houck has been found guilty of Murder - Accomplice or Principal and guilty of Tampering with Physical Evidence. 

    Joseph Lawson has been found guilty of Conspiracy to Commit Murder and guilty of Tampering with Physical Evidence.

    Was coming to post this. 

    The jury recommended a life sentence for Brooks Houck. For Joseph Lawson, they recommended 20 years for the conspiracy to commit murder charge and five for the tampering charges to be served consecutively, so 25 years.

    Biggest questions now.

    Will Brooks Houck's mom and brother now be indicted?

    Will Lawson give up the location of the body or what happened to it, to lessen his sentence?

    Will we ever know who killed Crystal's dad, Tommy?

     

    I hope they find her body, and I hope they find out who killed her dad. Are there any leads on who killed the mother and daughter?

    Lawson and Houck received the maximum sentence from the judge.

    Lawson was sentenced to 20 years for conspiracy to murder and five tampering with evidence to run consecutively. 

    Houck received life in prison for conspiracy to murder then five years for tampering with evidence. His is to be served consecutively as well.

    Hopefully at some point the family will find out what happened to her body as well as who kill her dad Tommy.
