After both teams were faced with COVID cancellations, the Knights and the Maroons put their heads together and scheduled a contest for this Friday at 8:45pm in the Traditional Bank Bluegrass Bowl.

Pulaski put on a show last week hosting 3A Belfry and sending the Pirates home with a 55-13 loss. And Lex Cath opened up their season last week with a trip to northern Kentucky to beat 6A Ryle 24-21.

Who wins this revised matchup in Lexington?

I am so happy to see teams/schools work quickly in the interests of their students.

Just saw this and was coming to post it.

This is AWESOME! I'm excited to see this game put together.

Interesting game.  I'll be paying attention from afar.

Great job to both schools to make it happen.

I guess that's what it takes to play right now.

I feel like this may be a shootout with the last team with the ball having a chance to win.

I'll say 48-45...

Best case scenario, given the circumstances. Each team gets a quality opponent on short notice.

This was pretty much my first thought when I saw this thread. It has all the makings of wild one.

Glad this game was quickly scheduled.  Should be a close one.

The poll is a little lopsided lol, but IMO this game will be a lot closer than some would think.

I’ll take Catholic 28-21.  The Knights turned their season around towards the end and gave Boyle all they wanted last year.   I think they continue to impress and pull out a W.

Pulaski County up 7 to 0.  They look pretty physical.
