Graves ain’t a pushover I wouldn’t go counting this in the win column yet.

Definitely not counting that one. I'm nervous about that game. Graves matches up well.

Congrats to the Tornadoes!!  Saw them at the scrimmage last week and I was surprised how much they improved in a week.  They match up well vs Graves. Game could go either way.

Again, great start for the new coaching staff.

Congrats to Tilghman, I was impressed by them. I mean no disrespect by this but I believe a lot of people around the McCracken program and community think they are on a level that they just aren’t on. They are a solid program, they are well coached. But they are not a contender at all in the 6a landscape. I don’t think they are in the top tier of 5a schools either. They have a chance to prove vs BG and south warren. I hope they can prove me wrong.

I agree, McCracken has had 2 years where they really could compete with anyone( outside of Louisville), 2015 lost in the region final to Central Hardin, Starting QB Cash Jones got hurt in the first quarter, lost 10-7. Then in 2019 McCracken lost in the region final to North Hardin 38-2, Starting QB Elijah Wheat didn’t play, along with starting running back Hunter Bradley. Anyone that thinks McCracken is a year in and year out contender just doesn’t understand the landscape of 6A football. Maybe they could get to that level at some point in the distant future, but they are a far cry from that right now.

Having watched both teams, I would definitely favor PT next week, I don’t see how Graves can match up with the Tilghman receivers, or how it matches up in the front 7 vs the PT offensive line. On the other side of the ball, Graves will have to be able to run the ball better against PT then they did against Mayfield to have any chance.

I sure hope you're right. The physicality of our line still worries me a lot. Jack rescued us out of a lot of trouble last night simply by getting rid of the ball extremely quick or making a throw as he was being hit.

James did, now the strength of McCracken County’s team is the defensive line, and in particular there ability to rush the passer, especially with the amount they blitz. Graves doesn’t have that on there defensive line, or really anything close, so I would expect the PT offensive line to play much better.

Several questionable calls or no calls in the game really helped Paducah. Really a close game but no way a 6A team should lose to a 3A team?

It's not unheard of that a 1A powerhouse can beat a 6A doormat.

What's that supposed to mean? Held the tight end multiple times over middle wide open.

I feel bad for most schools in the 6A class. Some really good teams get put out early cause 6A is so top heavy. That's one thing that gets glossed over when talking about the Christian County/Hop-town merger. Going to be a huge high school and probably a really good football team, but they are going to fall into that 6A class I would assume and thus championship hopes are way behind the gate from the get go.

I was referring to the comment about how a 6A should never lose to a 3A. Doesn't matter what class you are. If everything falls into place, you'll win.

I do think classes in Kentucky mean a lot less than other states. There are some 6a schools in the state that several 1a teams could beat handidly. The same principle applies to other classes as well. I think more than anything you have football schools and schools that arent typically or very occosioanlly.
