Final from Marshall Stadium. Rocks started off hot, but the Greyhounds rallied to win the shootout. 

Rocks have work to do for the rest of their non-district schedule.

That's not all bad.

Most points Trinity has given up since the 4A title game against Male in 2002 and more points than they allowed all of last season. Both are pretty astonishing.

I disagree. I saw a lot of good things, and there's only room to improve.

If it had been Lakota West I'd be far more concerned. Trinity is just gonna have to take a few lumps and navigate a difficult schedule. I think after week 10, they'll be more than prepared for a deep playoff run.

Lots and lots of things to improve on for sure.

But also a lot of positives. One time in the second half, there were seven sophomores on defense. Heck, they had five turnovers (pick six and QB fumble that gave Carmel a short field and fumble on opening kickoff of second half) that helped Carmel get 21 points.

Don't get me wrong Carmel is very good and QB was so solid and so smart! He's committed to Colgate but losing by 11 to them with 5 turnovers is not all that bad.

Yes, tough each week. But these young kids will grow up. Too bad they have a really good QB and maybe best defensive player out for what sounds like the long haul.

Wow! Pick six and was in on a ton of plays. Just a sophomore. Looks about 6-2 and 180 or so defensive end.

It was nice to see the place jam-packed!

There were people everywhere.

I was at game and my concern is that Trinity lineman looked really small compared to past years teams. 

I'm afraid they will wear down during games against the probable huge size difference they will face on the lines most of the season.
