Does Chad leave every game for an IV?

We ran into a team playing bad and looking to rebound. We had no room for air and dropped everything thrown to us. Does Chris Henry even try? That pass to him in double coverage was amazing yet he barely even stuck his hands up. Then he dropped the pass where he thought he was going to get hit. He can be your best player or your worst, and last night he was flat awful. CJ needs more touches and him and Palmer didn't seem to be in sync. Did that challenge overturn on the first possesion blow anyone elses mind. Every time they showed it slower it looked like CJ's hand was under the ball. I have no clue how they overturned it unless they had a better camera angle (and they didn't). That was followed with the sack/fumble........quicksand.

Did anyone else get the impression the coaching staff, offensively, at least, gave up as the 4th quarter began and moved on. So many running plays down by so much. And then punting with about 4 minutes left. Might as well as taken knees to end the game if you are going to not try and win.

It seems that Marvin plays too much by the book in big games. Colts scored all 3 times they have touched the ball in the first half. Fresh off back to back td's. 4th and 1 on about the 15 against a team that has been a sieve defensively against the run and you opt for a field goal.

That continued the tone of the game that the Bengals were going to play from behind and wait for Peyton to make a mistake instead of trying to win the game.

Thought the coaches had a very poor game. It seemed the Bengals were not committed to a real run attack but also not committed to their identity of a passing team. They tried to have best of both worlds and did not have the success they thought they would.

When is Chad going to take care of himself and be a threat for the entire game? IV problem is too much. Bengals make it to the Super Bowl and he would probably have to leave during that game. Also, his hands didn't match his mouth.

Lastly, how many times is Chris Henry going to drop a key, key pass. TD pass vs. Tampa Bay. TD pass (even Carson was upset about it) in the first drive against Colts.

Toughest stretch to end the season of any team. Good Luck!

I think he dropped one pass, and there was nothing on the money to him. I don't get the IV thing either. Eat a banana Chad. The drops led to a lot less pass attempts. The recievers were flat bad last night.

CP cannot have only 11 attempts total while its still only the 3rd quarter.

When you can't get your defense off the field he can!

I believe he was 3 for 8 in the first half. A top 3 QB in the world playing agains another top 3 QB in the world and we threw 8 passes in the 1st half. That's a joke and the coaching staff really outthought themselves.

They seemed to not be committed to the run nor to being what they usually are offensively. Tried to be too much of too many things.

I think if they would have done nothing but pound, pound, pound Rudy, they could have had success.

Or if they would have done what they normally done, they would have had more success.

But they seemed to try and please all of their weapons rather than a game plan to win and it backfired.

And I believe he dropped 2. The first one that was overturned. Another that Harper tipped, while not technically a drop, when you go on the air and broadcast that you are all-Galaxy, then you have to make that catch. There was another that he dropped.

Homer was talking about something in the pregame that they were talking about Chad and McDonald's. Any clue what that was about?

Henry is a punk. He drops that pass, and all he does is talk trash to the Colts secondary. Shut up and get back to the sideline. He doesn't seem willing to catch the ball in traffic. If he's one-on-one, he's as good as it gets, but get a big hitter around and his arms contract. He's afraid of contact...period.

On the two long passes, I didn't think he gave the effort to catch the ball that Chad or TJ would have given.

I didn't think that he did either, and that's normally where he excels, or the only area where he is above average. Here are 2 things to look at. The Bengals were killing Indy with the run in the first half. That's a huge reason that Palmer only had 8 pass attempts. Add to that the fact that the Colts had THREE possessions in the first half and had around 23 minutes of possession and you do not get the chance to throw many passes. I thought that offensively, their gameplan would have been great b/c Indy could not stop Rudy. What hurt them, and what differed from this game and Jacksonville, was that the Bengals did not pressure Manning. That was the whole key to the Colts rut, teams were putting pressure on Manning and he was throwing INT's. If your D-Line can not generate a pass rush, you have to blitz to hurry his drop. If you don't, you get what you got last night. The man threw 29 passes. He completed 26. Someone has to take responsibility. If Bresnahan is back next year, along with Brian Simmons and Tory James, the front office is doing something wrong.

Bengals defensive scheme play right into the hands of Manning. Hmm, let me stand in the pocket for an eternity, look over the whole field, and throw to the open reciever. Let me destroy you. Let me embarass you on national TV. Lets listen to Steve Young tell a national audience how bad you are. Big fun On MNF for Cincy. Good move by all the TV execs to keep Cincy off MNF over the years. Whoever is still alive in fantasy and you have Jay Cutler you are golden next week.
