Anything can happen in the 2nd half but BG has clearly been the superior team in the 1st half. 

Shades of the CovCath-BG game last week. Owensboro just can't get anything going offensively.

BG defense as good as advertised so far.

Game couldn't have started any better for Owensboro with deferring and getting a 3 and out and ball near midfield and starting a drive.  

BG a little tight to start, but in the 2Q started to make some things happen offensively.  Defensively, wow Purples look tough!

Only 83 yards of offense through 2 quarters so far for Owensboro. That's not going to get it done.

Yards 101-83.  Punt was a killer.  Fallin better get a little more aggressive on play calling.  Wimsatt plenty of time but missing some throws.  He had 2 to Tinsley early on that are probably 6 if he puts it on the money.  First driver here is huge.

Only 101 for Bowling Green... not much better. They have points on the board though.

If some do, hopefully rival fans won't paint them all with the same brush.

Field position is dictated by turnovers, special teams, and defense.  BG winning all three of those phases in the first half.  Field position has created two short fields for the BG points.
