In '91, Jerry Fogle hit a buzzer beater as Harrison beat Maysville in the last game in the history of the storied Bulldog tradition. Huge crosd that night that stormed the floor when it was all over.

 

Extremely exciting game the entire night, especially the last minute or two when the tempo was top speed and the lead changed hands a couple of times.

The buzzer beater was in '97 and GRC actually still had a shot to win.

GRC was up by 2 points with 6 seconds to go...Harrison ball. On the inbound pass Brandon Hawkins of GRC stole the ball.....then a Harrison player stole it from him, passed to thier center...he hit a 3 at the buzzer.....:cry:

What about Maysville-Tollesboro district game in 1991? I think 3 overtimes, Maysville last team vs. Chris Harrison and the gang, wasn't it played in Maysville?

Mine is the 1992 Class A final between Bracken and Nicholas. We won at the buzzer and while we celebrate on our home floor, Nicholas heads to the locker room, throwing away the 10th region champs shirts they had on underneath their jerseys.

I thought Harrison beat Tollesboro that year. The only reason I think that is because there was a big to do about Harrison beating Tollesboro in their final game of existence and then doing the same to Maysville the following night.

I also remember the headline in the Herald-Leader- "Harrison beats Harrison" (referring to the county beating Chris).

Tollesboro-Maysville was a district game and Harrison Co. put them out in region.
