Roy would be Ok but he choaked to much at Kansas! Remember thats where he used to coach at! He had great talent and recruits there also but seemed to get stuck in the second round quite abit!

Yeah, we can look back and say, what if? But UK had comitments from 3 guards in which 2 were AA. Would I of rather had Lofton over Crawford? Out of High School...NO...Today, I think so. Wouldn't we all love to have a crystal ball?

It all goes back to my thoughts on Tubby's lack of success in the early signing period. You have to get the big name players to sign early, and Tubby is not getting that done...

Roy Williams has been pretty good at getting the ones Tubby can't land. The Senior and Sophomore class can't happen at a program like UK. And for that, there's no logical excuse...

Exactly why UK is struggling right now. He needs a couple of good years in a row to get UK back on track. The current freshman are a good start but he can't lay an egg with the up and coming class.

Not lately...But as far as our Jr. class, most were pretty early. All I'm saying is, we all knew Lofton was a Great shooter in High School. I'm not to sure anyone can say they knew he was going to be this good in College. After all, how many great High School shooters from Kentucky have the Cats had in the last 10 years, who just didn't pan out, I know there's a few.

Like I said eariler its like banging your head on the wall!Right now I hate being apart of a group of people that call themselves UK basketball fans! I will pull for the cats always but I will not be a part of the so called fans that that give our state and school a bad name!!!

I like Tubby and am not a UK fan, but nice try. His recruiting inconsistency is a problem. I call a spade a spade...

GT is someone that actually likes Tubby and has stuck up for him sometimes. But right now he is just stating the obvious and that is Tubby cant have the inconsistency in his recruiting. The Senior and Sophomore classes are terrible. I can see maybe having one bad class during his tenure, but you cant have two and especially so close to each other, and that is what is hurting UK right now. Because if we would just just got even above averages classes in both the senior and sophomore classes, then we probably would be in the top 10 right now, and would not have had that bad year last year most likely...

 

I know I am one of the biggest Tubby supporters on this board, but its obviouus Tubby HAS to be more consistent in recruiting and NEVER have classes like the Senior and Sophomore classes again...

I believe we could say this about every Coach in the Country.

I don't think you can, there are some coaches such as Coach K that could basically have whoever he wanted.

When is the last time Tubby had a verbal before a kid was done with his junior year? 08 kids are already lining up, and UK isn't high on many lists. See a pattern???
