One thing worth noting is that the Lex Cath offense has 5 of their top 7 receivers back from last year in Jackson Corbett, Blake Busson, Jack Monday, Dylan Bracken, and JD Woodall. Jack Gohmann was one of those 7 top receivers, but he has moved over to starting QB for the Knights this year as a junior.

I think this is being very kind. However, they are really well coached and play with good technique. Plus, it's not like they play a ton of man so they don't need it as much. We also haven't faced a bunch of future college QB's so far so that helps. 

Gohmann's Hudl highlights are kind of nice.  If LC is patient taking the underneath stuff, they should be able to throw the ball on the Colonels, but I think too highly of the DLine to think LC will have a ton of success. I'm also not expecting LC to be able to run the ball.

If LC can get the passing game going they can put up some points. Unfortunately I can’t see them getting it going enough to win this game. A running clock wouldn’t shock me but I am not expecting it. I’d say 42-14 Cov Cath.

Pete Sutton tied the school's single game TD receptions record with 3, and although it's still missing from the school's record book, Josh Bleser tied the school record for passing TD's with 6. I believe Josh Bleser also set the school's single game record for most passing yards in that game by going 10-18 for 354 yards. Caleb Jacob has beaten that, and set the current single-game record for passing yards by going 19-30 for 385 yards against Bishop Chatard (IN) in 2018.

What's nuts, to me, is that watching those two games and knowing how much "up and down the field all night" 354 and 385 yards makes a game look, neither of those games even sniffs at getting on the KHSAA's list of 40-some-odd top single game passing performances. That list requires a minimum of 450 yards passing in a single game to be included. That's absolute bananas!
