It matters because my original point was that NKY rarely produces a team that can compete with the "big schools" in Louisville, meaning Trinity, St. X, Male, Manual. You then made the point that Louisville 6A isn't better than NKY 6A and isolated Trinity as being the lone wolf. 

By a quick search back to 2010, I see NKY 6A teams with playoff wins against Ballard, Eastern, Jeffersontown, Seneca, Southern, Butler and PRP. The only team with a winning record that a NKY team beat was Ballard in 2014. Not one win against the cream of the crop in Louisville, which was my original point.

That is a no brainer. If that was your point, no one can argue that. Obviously no one in N. Ky. - or anywhere in the state INCLUDING the rest of Louisville - can compete with those three programs. I wasn't sure if that was your point. I thought perhaps you were including all of Louisville 6A versus N. Ky. 6A.  

To my point about the top ten rankings, I am going to guess Ballard, Butler and PRP were in the top ten rankings in many of those years and the N. Ky. schools that beat them weren't.

No sir. I don't pay enough attention to 6A in NKY to argue which region is better after the top few in each group. 

Twenty or 30 years ago Boone County was the bell cow for NKY large  class football.   IMO there has not been a team from NKY to attain similar status since.

Seems like yesterday but those days are long gone. Pains me how their program has fallen so much.

They weren't competitive in 2 of those 3 losses losing by an average of 30 points a game.

Not many teams going to be within 30 of Male and Ballard that are below them. The voters have put them where they are so they agree. If Ryle beats SK then maybe they get leap frogged.

I find it interesting that BluegrassPreps has the same 8 teams that are in the top 8 of CalPreps.com, just in different orders.

BGP 9 and 10 is where it gets whacky. Oldham is 15th in Cal and Fern Creek is 16th.

So I think you could consider 9 Dixie Heights (3-3), 10 Ryle (3-3), 11 Dunbar (3-1), 12 Simon Kenton (3-3), 13 Henderson (3-1), 14 PRP (2-2).

Dixie Heights (2 in Beechwood and Simon Kenton) and Ryle (2 in Dixie Heights and Campbell County) both have better wins than Fern Creek's best/only win.

CalPreps says Dunbar's win over Henry Clay is comparable to Fern Creek beating Bullitt East, but CalPreps says Lexington Christian (Dunbar's loss) is better than Fern Creek's losses to Oldham and Ballard ... when Fern Creek scored a whopping 1 combined TD.

Top 8 teams are usually pretty easy as far as selecting to be in top 10. 9 and 10 harder because usually multiple teams can make argument for. All those teams you listed get votes but not enough to make top 10 but you never know maybe next week.
