Both, but if I had to pick one, I'd say Williamstown is just that bad this year.

They must be. 13 points!!!!

I think it was 31-0 a few minutes into the second quarter before they scored, it wasn't fun to watch.

The sad thing is that SK could have stayed in the 9th had it made an effort. I understand that last year would not have been as good if they didn't make the switch but I still wish they were in the 9th.

I would think it hurts SK's gate money. I know parents and alum that wouldn't go to games often, but when they were playing Cov. Cath, Highlands, or Dixie, you would always get a few old faces in the crowd. With those games not being played now, it's just not the same.

According to some other comments made, apparently there was no chance at SK being able to stay in the 9th, I was misinformed. But I do agree with what you said. They still play a lot of 9th region games but not as many and now they are really meaningless, and they play a lot more games that involve traveling.

I wouldn't say that to fast, Dixie has owned SK in recent years..

So your basings PAST years on this years game, yeh I'm sure last years seniors are really going to step it up for Dixie on Monday night.

Yes I could understand if they live outside of Kenton County, but really I think all of the Kenton,Capbell,Boone teams should be in the one region. It's easier on the teams and the fans.

I agree.

Agree.

Dixie has owned SK recently, 6 in a row going back to '03, but I think SK has the talent advantage in '06.

I hope you're not implying the Simon Kenton did something wrong by playing how they did. It's not their option to play this game, and they have to make an effort. If Simon Kenton's JV took over in the second quarter, I don't see much else for the Pioneers to do. I really, really hope you're not placing blame on SK for this.
You and your opinion is right on..SK did nothing wrong. You run into games like this from time to time, but not very often. Sure you feel sorry for the mismatched opponet, but how far can you play down, until you dribble the ball to waste clock. Wasnt there, but heard and SK always shows class. Sk has been in those very same shoes and I remember those days, Sk would NEVER treat another team like they have been treated in the past. And when I say past, I mean SK Class of 1972!!!:thumb:
One thing that may be misconstrued - a school could voice their opinions as to the realignment, but that did not mean that it would change anything.

Buzzer beater against Scott and over time against Holmes would count for me as hard fought games...

I was actually refering to this Williamstown game and the upcoming games leading into the 5/3.

No, but it is always in the back of your mind that you've never beat this team.
