Agreed, White needs to hit the bunnies he's missing. Your point guard needs to be able to shoot. The ref had a mental lapse at the end of the game, but Augusta had their chances. White wasn't the only one to miss the easy ones, but give Bracken credit, they played hard, as did Augusta. Exciting game with a great crowd. Bracken's Williams obscene gestures to the Augusta crowd was totally uncalled for. I'm sure his coach didn't see it. C'mon son, show some class.

I was at the game last night and White didn't seem like he was hitting his shots like he usually does, Hamilton for Bracken came up big though.

And I'm sad to say when the two meet again that if we only get a couple points from our bench again and one of your best players if not the best goes 1 of 14 from the field the outcome will be the same..... And again although he is 6'6" he did nothing again tonight including alter shots like everyone says. And people have been on Prides case about the JV stuff but it looks like to me lil pride could score more than two points by himself and thats what we had total tonight. Need better play from your key players...Staggs good game though!

 

Were you at the game because Chris Mofford played only two minutes? When he was in the game, he altered three shots (including Hamilton shooting an air ball over the rim and Jesse Hall having to triple pump a layup which he later had a field day at completing) and blocked one. Were you at the state of the art concession stand? Everyone I was sitting with was wondering where he was.

Nice post sports! Very well stated... I also think that he should be in there more when another team has an inside game, but he is a liability on the offensive end... He looked so unsure in the Varsity game about what he should do with the ball... Just my opinion, but I do think he needs more time!

I was at the game and I thought it was a very poorly played game on both ends of the court by both teams. There were times in this game that either team scored for minutes at a time. It was an exciting atmosphere b/c it was the Bracken Co./Augusta rivalry, but on the floor it was boring game.

 

Both teams really struggled on the offensive end of the floor and I can't really say that the defense was the reason for the woeful offensive play!

 

Tough loss at home for Coach Kelsch, big win on the road in a tough atmosphere for Coach Fite.

Is there a more exciting atmosphere anywhere? I say no. Bracken at Augusta is always a tightly played game. You can see the tension in the air.

I think this is one of the biggest rivalries in the 10th!

There also seems like there is alot of frustration on fouls not being called. You need to play tough and not wait on that whistle to blow. Let the coach fight that battle.

Josh pours his heart and soul out every game. When he puts up 22 aginst Deming hes loved but once he goes 1-14 it seems that some are calling for his job.

I for one am not calling for his job, I don't think anyone could debate that he controls the game for Augusta. Just stating the fact that he has not broke into double figures in four games. If he is not scoring someone else need too and thats not happing either.

I'm not calling for his job either. I'm just saying that your main man needs to contribute more for them to win.
