How in the world you could vote the Bengals is beyond me.

Why wouldnt you pick the Bengals. The top 4 teams on ESPN radio today were=

1. Chargers

2. Saints

3. Patriots

4. Baltimore

 

They beat Saints pretty good. Beat Ravens, and had a chance to beat them if some calls would have gone there way and most of them should have. They basically beat the Chargers, up by 3 scores at half and to lose is sooo rare, they had them beat. And the only team left is the Pats and they crushed the Bengals, no excuses. If they would have played them today it would be different.

How in the world you could vote the Bengals is beyond me.

 

Please tell me what it is so crazy to vote for them. Yeah they still just need to make the playoffs first before anything, but if they make the playoffs they have as good of a shot as anyone. And well probably would be more prepared than any other team, because just about every game this year was against playoff type teams. So if we get into the playoffs, the Bengals will be a team not many people would want to face, and I think they will win it IF they just find away to make the playoffs.

Eric Allen, on The Herd today, said he thought the only team in the AFC that can derail the Chargers run to the Super Bowl is Cincy. He doesn't think they'd beat Cincy twice, but thinks they'll walk to Miami if they avoid drawing Cincy in the playoffs.

 

Mr. No Name, I don't think the Bengals will win a Playoff game this year, on the road, but I don't think picking them is absurd on any level.

Exactly why I said it was crazy to vote for them, they might not even get in the playoffs. But I agree, they are hot and we'll find out just how hot next Monday in Indy.

Baltimore will be a tough team. But my pick is the Chargers!

The way teams are playing right now I'd put the Bengals at number 2 right behind the Chargers.

I said from the start of the season the Chargers would win.

I'd love to see my Bengals in the super bowl, but right now I'd say the Chargers are looking like the toughest team to beat.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that whomever comes out of the NFC will not be as beaten up, and in a 1 game scenario, could possibly have an advantage? The AFC clearly has more good teams, but given the NFL playoff structure, and knowing that anything can happen in 1 game, I'm not sure the NFC representative won't be in better shape for the game in Miami.

This is true, but I believe the first round bye and the last game of the season meaning nothing is all LT needs to get ready for the SB. He carries the Chargers team to victory. I really though it was going to be the Colts this season but again they can't stop the run. The Bears make it from the NFC I believe but with all their up's and downs I just can't pick them to win.
