August 3, 20206 yr The Reds should have gone 14 innings of shut out baseball if it wasn’t for that error/ miscommunication between Senzel and Castellanos in game 1. Still 2 wins yesterday was exactly what this team needed. I’d like to go at least 1 week of the top 5 guys in the order all being healthy/available. It wasn’t the perfect start to this season, but I do think they are still in great shape.
August 3, 20206 yr We've found our niche!!! 7 Inning doubleheaders versus Detroit. Eliminate the bullpen.
August 3, 20206 yr Love it. The MLB must adapt and be solution driven like other leagues (NBA, UFC, MLS, NHL) if they intend to complete this season. Yesterday's Reds games were entertaining and had a sense of urgency.

Sometimes I think traditionalists would rather the game wither and die holding on to tradition, instead of adapting and evolving.

Ah, yes. The “DH has ruined the game/it takes a rocket scientist to properly execute the double switch” crowd is apoplectic.
August 5, 20206 yr I don't know what all the angst is all about. They do 7 inning double headers in the minors.
August 9, 20206 yr I say, let them try anything this season. Perfect time to test new ideas. Too bad they aren't testing the electronic umpire to call ball/strike pitches.
