This is usually brought up once a year, but now since the season is winding down and folks have probably been to multiple gyms, I wonder if there are any changes. What schools in your opinion have some of the better PA announcers? Which ones do you dread walking into the gym because you have to listen to them?

Thread says NKY PA Announcers but only list 9th region- Technically NKY would include some 10th Region teams.

Just a shout out to Mr. Shannon (Bishop Brossart ) who plays the best music when he gets to pick it and its not picked by the ball team. LOL

You make a very good point. I wish I could add them to the poll. It only lets you have 20 options, and that is how many teams are in the 9th. I wish I could add Simon, Walton, Scott, Calvary,Campbell County,and Brossart.

Jerad Moore (Dixie). He does a great job. His brother Rocky Tye, does Scott. Both are outstanding people that are positiver supporters of all NKY sports. Jerad is a really professional person. He takes the job serious and respects the other team while being energetic for his own team. Nothing over the top, but he isn't trying to be the show. Great work Jerad.

I would ditto the Joe Barnes at Bellevue. Best in the business. It shows he has a blast doing it.

Is that the same Jerad Moore that works for the Bengals? He is a really good guy, if they are one in the same. I had no idea he was the P.A. person at Dixie.

This is a fun thread. I don’t like the PA people who over announce and make it about them. Give me what happened and play some music. The guy at Cooper is awful. Hate going there because it is just too much. I will say again Joe Barnes is the best. I went to Ryle to watch Maddie Scherr play a few times and noticed Coach Tiki announcing and it was minimal like it should be. Going to say again though if you haven’t been to a Bellevue game, go. Better yet go to Bellevue vs Dayton and enjoy the atmosphere. Especially Joe Barnes.
