Ludlow 60 St. Henry 56 OT (34th District Semi Finals)

Featured Replies

Final. Ludlow was up by 17 at half. St. Henry came storming back to take it to OT. Ludlow was able to make the plays in overtime.

Ludlow secures their spot in the region tournament and now takes on Dixie for the 34th District Championship.

Congrats Ludlow on making the region two years in a row. Now go out and win the district championship!

Am happy for Aaron Stamm and the Lady Panthers!!!

Sounds like it would have been a brutal beat.

Congrats to the Lady Panthers and Coach Stamm!! Nice to see the Panthers advancing to the 9th Region Tourney for 2nd year in row!!! Good Luck!!!!

It was amazing that St.Henry was able to come back in this one. The FT advantage was something like 17-4 for Ludlow in the first half, and 29-6 for the game.

I may be completely wrong, and time will certainly tell with perfect clarity, but I think Todd Smart will turn things around in Erlanger. I really do. There are a number of really good teams / players coming up in their feeder schools, and yes, some of those girls will head to NDA, but he should have some pieces to work with over the next few years. I like Todd a lot, and so I'm sure that adjusts my lens, but I do believe Coach Smart will get it figured out and get them back as a regular fixture in the regional tourney.

St.Henry will be much better next year with the addition of Kayla Unkraut and possibly a few others. Congrats to Coach Stamm one of the good guys in this business.

Unkraut going to St Henry??? I wonder what her production will be. The 3 best teams on Villas schedule were within their district in St Henry, Dixie and Ludlow. I would even throw Lloyd in for next best team they played. Outside of Dixie those other three aren’t really lighting it up. If she is at St Henry then playing Highlands, Holy Cross, Brossart and NCC is a little different then playing Latin, Dayton and beechwood twice as well as every other school on their schedule. I get they schedule who they are. But just wondering how she will fare vs much better competition. Will she also jump to an established AAU organization like Premier, Thunder or Gym Rats to prepare for this?

What AAU team does Unkraut she play for?

I am not quite sure. I was just asking if trying to move up to one of those other top programs teams would be beneficial to her. You watch twitter and the top players from across the state come from those 3 mostly. I don’t coach aau nor have I ever but hard to argue with the run of players these programs have.

Kayla plays for Ky Fusion 2024.

Oh ok! From what I’ve heard that team is loaded with local talent. Also have Hunt from HC and Hamilton from Conner. They also have the big post from Ryle. That’s a pretty solid team for local kids!

Kayla will be just fine next year.

With the 500 points she has from Villa.

I would expect her to get to 1500 point plus.

She is a great kid as well.

Pretty good soccer player from what I hear.

This thread obviously isn't about the game.
