Won’t be on the varsity bench.

Too literal my man, too literal. You know what I meant.

Cov Cath does not seem to be peaking at the right time this year, but they are still BY FAR the most talented team in the region. Grant Disken is the heart and soul of this team, along with Neil Green.

I wouldn't count out the rest of the region as quickly as most, because there is enough talent on 4 different teams to put a game together to CCH this year.

I agree with both of your points.

Cov.Cath. always seems to have one clunker in either the district or region and yet wins. They are fine and hard to beat.

So you're saying he's gonna go from a varsity bench to not even dressing varsity at Cov Cath?

No, you're saying that. All I was intimating was he checked into the game as an Indian last night, and will likely be at CovCath next year. No more. No less.

There were 3 ties and 9 lead changes in the game. Holy Cross led by as many as 8 at 27-19 early in the 2nd quarter. Points in the paint really hurt Holy Cross (36-18) and 2nd chance points were 11-0 in favor of CCH. In the first half junior Brandon McClendon was unstoppable getting to the rim scoring 14 of his 18 points. CCH did a much better job in the 2nd half limiting his penetration.

After getting beat 87-40 by CCH earlier in the year the Indians gave the Colonels their best shot in this one but ran out of gas in the 2nd half. Best of luck to the five Holy Cross seniors. They were a pleasure to watch these past 4 years.

Lastly, congratulations to senior Grant Disken who went over 1,000 career points.

Nice effort from the Indians.

For the Colonels, survive and advance.

Haven't watched the past two games so I have no idea but is Hupmann possiblly hurting us down low? He came back for the Madison Southern game, the first of two that we've started struggling. He's been out for a while, if so that might be why in my opinion. Unfortunate senior season considering he's such a great player and has dealt with some sicknesses most of the season.

No doubt the on court chemistry has been dealt a set back with Hupmann in and out and back in the lineup. Before missing games, he was stringing together some solid games. Not sure what the answer is, but I think you have to find him playing time. He can impact the game quite a bit when things are rolling.

They definitely were out of sync on the offensive end in the last game, and on the defensive end 3 out of the last 4 half’s before taking over in the 2nd Half last night.

I have said this many times. Ruthsatz's style of play is a bad fit for a big man. If I were 6'8"+, I would not be at CCH.

Nice post! What other 1000 point club members were inducted on HC Internet Radio?

Not sure if any high school is a good fit for any 6'8"+ player. Most haven't grown into their bodies yet and most high school guards struggle with entry passes.

Perhaps. Regardless, I don't think the Ruthsatz system works for a big man.

Agree to disagree on this.
