Holy Cross gave Cov Cath all they could handle in the first half, leading at the end of the 1st quarter, and only allowing for a 1 point lead for the Colonels headed into the locker room at the half.

Cov Cath picked things up in the 2nd half, but they won't have room for errors or slow starts moving forward.

Congratulations to Cov Cath's Grant Disken on joining the 1000 point club tonight.

Green 22 points and 9 rebs.

Disken with 21 points.

If you're an Indian fan, you have to take solace in the fact that the future is very bright. Solid result and a great effort by HC.

Congratulations Mr. D1sKen! Welcome to the club.

Congratulations Mr. D1sKen! Welcome to the club.

I see what you did there

From listening, sounded like Joey Moser scored a quick 8 points in second half to calm the Colonels down and take control. I look for him to play a major leadership role if the Colonels are going to make a deep run this year.

This is a game that shows Cov Cath is not invincible. They can be beat. Who is going to be the cinderella this year?

Holy Cross has two of the most talented players in N.Ky. (Meyer, McClendon) who can reek havoc on anyone. Arguably that is the most talented duo on any team in N. Ky.. I am not surprised at all that Holy Cross was able to cause some problems for the Colonels.

Nice effort from the Indians.

For the Colonels, survive and advance.

8th grader Noah Johnson with a little clock for HC -- guessing he will be on the other bench next year, right?

No one in NKY.

I will agree with that! Scary too see them two next year add a big-man with Hicks.

Won’t be on the varsity bench.

Cov Cath does not seem to be peaking at the right time this year, but they are still BY FAR the most talented team in the region. Grant Disken is the heart and soul of this team, along with Neil Green.

I wouldn't count out the rest of the region as quickly as most, because there is enough talent on 4 different teams to put a game together to CCH this year.
