I Did watch a lot more local football this season.

 

 

Wow what an accomplishment. 16 weeks of high school football and you saw 46 football games. If my calculations are right you must have seen two games on friday and at least one game on Saturday for 16 weeks. Bigger football fan than I am.

Being I have watched so many live games on tv this season(2008) I will be able to see more than the toal I watched ever. This post was the most I had ever watched live(in person) with gas prices being what they were and me getting laid-off again I thought it smarter to cheat and watch for free, at home on tv.

I am just hoping to have a job by then(lol)Being laid-off has kept me inside for I think five weeks now. When things get better I might start looking at next football season.Right now well they are not good so I am using the playoffs to keep me from going off of the deep end.

Bardstown v. Monroe Co. is on deck. Here's hoping Friday's weather resembles nothing like what I dealt with today, in miserable pneumonia conditions at Ky Horse Park. I can't imagine how hellish it must have been for the runners. At least I got a 2-hour nap in the car to dry off and warm up.

I could have went to games instead of watching on tv ut the playoff tickets are nine bucks in Ohio and with Newark Catholic not making it, and me being laid off I decided not to.

 

I also got a live game on tv on Thursday nights and that saved me aroiund 1,000 miles and a lot of money durning the regular season being gas was 4 bucks during the regulare season or close to it.
