Brandon is a good defensive player, but he hasn't dominated on any level of basketball. If the kid is a dominating player, he would have played quite a bit of varsity time over the past few years and Brandon has not. Those are the facts.

Have to agree on this--When the footballers and Billy return, they will make a good run; but will still have a heckova time getting past Holmes!!

Does anyone understand CCH had three starters out. If even one or two of these players played I would take CCH by 10.

Billy was expected to be out 4 to 5 weeks and that was 2 weeks ago when the injury occured. Look for him back around the Holiday tournament time or shortly after as long as all goes well

I'm half way with you, my guess is SK moves up but everyone knows that CCH was without 2 or 3 starters and don't see St. Henry making that big of a jump

I think St. Henry moves up to 5 in most polls. With two dominant wins this weekend over Lloyd and Lou. Holy Cross they have shown they will at least be competititive all season.

that's about right, certainly not to the top two spots but top 4 or 5 is legit

Simon already beat St. Henry by double figures, so they can't be number two. Holy Cross lost again tonight. Simon has to number one right now, with Brossart number two.

 

After that, CovCath already has two losses, Holmes and St. Henry have losses, and Boone, Dixie, and Highlands have just begun playing. NewCath has yet to tip off, so I'd say a lot of question marks still out there.
