Rickyp, is this Euton kid a freshman?

Not to preempt Rickyp but Dakotah Euton and Chad Jackson are both freshmen, Michael Fuller and Tony Arthur are juniors, Johnny Bush is a sophomore, and Alex Malloy is an eighth grader. Chase Jackson, 6'10", is nursing an injury and is a junior. There are no seniors on the roster but a number of other youngsters (seventh grade, eighth grade, and ninth grade).

 

As Fastbreak and Rickyp said, it should be a fun year. There should be some "funner" and maybe "funnest" years in the future.

I think it's better to let actions speak louder than words. This is just the first game of a long season, and what I hope will be a long string of seasons for a very young team with a ton of upside. There are more young reinforcements in the program on the way up. This group has a lot of room for growth and improvement. It will be fun.

 

Bottom line... this was a significant win over a quality opponent, and a good indication of what is possible. Whether it qualifies as a “warning shot” or not, I don't think any knowledgeable coaches will take RH too lightly for the next several seasons. :thumb:

Congratulations to the Royals, and to the usual suspects, but even more so from moi to Johnny Bush and Alex Malloy. Both can be so vitally important to the successes of all involved. Hats off to Coach Tim Fraley as well! Suffering through some tough times often results in some really good ones, of which I hope are just the beginning.:thumb:

If Rose Hill was preseason 4th in the 16th Region, I would hate to see how good the other three are.

I've seen them as high as third and as low as seventh.

Rosehill is better than most people thinks they are. they will be top 3 at the end of this season.

Being third behind Russell and Elliott County may be a little optimistic but it sounds good.

This team looked almost as good as the OJ teams of about 4 years ago.

Reminds me of a Jack Sicma type for the royals....Jackson is a player.

I think it is too early to start showering this team with accolades. Still very, very young and will have nights that leave you scratching your head. Either way I'm going to enjoy the ride.
