Discussion on the radio this morning. Does/should Bowden start against Tennessee in two weeks?

After their win Saturday, UK is going to get bowl eligible by beating Vandy and the FCS opponent, so I say why not. Leave him in there.

100%. Unless Terry Wilson or Randall Cobb are ready to play I want Lynn starting.

I would like to see a series where he and Smith are on the field, but I think he is the starter.

He is going to get hurt if offense remains the same before season is over.

This offense is not sustainable. He’s going to get injured being this run heavy. He’s not built like a running back. He won’t be able to continue to sustain the amount of hits he’s getting each game. I think he gives UK the best chance to win when he’s out there playing QB, but it’s a huge risk continuing to run him out there like that.

2 more wins and Stoops gets a big bonus. Bowden is gone in 2.5 months, I think both parties are enjoying the ride while it last.

It’s in the best interest of both parties without a doubt. Bowden playing QB and showing his athleticism is the best thing for him as far as his NFL potential as a receiver. Win-Win for both parties even if he gets injured.

No bonus for 6 wins or bowl. They changed his contract over the summer. Gave him a raise that offset those bonuses.

I can't help but think that the better Bowden plays at QB (hopefully leading to UK to wins), the better his NFL stock will be.

Not even a bonus for making a bowl? Winning one, surely, right?

He had a bonus structure to pay forceach win past 6. They reworked his schedule and gave him the bonus for wins 7 and 8 up front as a base salary. So bonus doesn't kick in until 9th win now.

That was actually a very wise move by him if you ask me, now that I know the structure of it.
