mcpapa
I seem to recall a certain LA Dodgers exec getting in deep doo-doo for postulating the "reverse" of this. Wasn't right then, isn't right now. If The Playmaker was just trying to get a laugh, it wasn't thought through at all.
Hard Rock Fan
When he played, he was my favorite. But enough is enough. I agree with the writer of the column, although he didn't come out and say it. If it had been a white person saying that, he'd be fired probably. I mean, look what happened to Rush Limbaugh for saying stuff about McNabb because he's black. It goes to show that just because an athlete retired, not all of them are cut out to be announcers. HHSDad
Didn't Rush Limbaugh get raked over the coals for a much less offensive remark?
HammerTime
He doesn't deserve to be on the tv. What a fool.
spindoc
He had the "friends drug paraphenalia" incident during the holidays last year I believe. Never missed a day of work. As a matter of fact, he got more air time to tell his spin of the story on ESPN. I'd fire him because he's a horse's rearend! Open mouth and insert next idiotic statement. STRIKE3
Like I said on another thread, some people should never be put near a microphone and asked "What are your thoughts"..... Shameful and embarrassing comments. Should have been gone, long ago. I would imagine Harold Reynolds, is watching to see what happens.
NamecipS
Didn't Rush Limbaugh get raked over the coals for a much less offensive remark? I don't recall Rush's comments. Does anyone remember Jimmy "The Greeks" comments? It's been quite a few years and I can't recall why he was fired. I think it was something racial as well, but cannot recall. Hard Rock Fan
Didn't Rush Limbaugh get raked over the coals for a much less offensive remark? I also said that Rush got blasted for what he said. If memory serves me correctly, he said something along the line of "the media loves Donovan McNabb because he's a black QB" or something like that.
