Kinner is an outstanding running back. On many plays, he was dragging 3,4 and sometimes 5 NCC players. "Push Button" Go ability, great field vision. Absolute STUD!!

Newport Catholic may not face a better running back the rest of the season and post season. Kinner is one of the best running backs in Ohio.

NCC will be fine from here on out. There schedule calms down quite a bit. Good Luck the rest of the way Breds.

I’m sure they were, Kinner is just that good.

Their offense has to get better if they are planning on making any kind of run in the playoffs. Defense is on the field way to much.

I think the offense will look entirely different when matched against schools more their size. There will be a more consistent running game and I anticipate a more sustained short - medium passing game.

 

The Breds will be fine.

This game was a "L" on New Cath's schedule from the word go.

 

With that in mind, there is value in challenging yourself with a tough schedule - even if it means losses - so long as those losses result in improvements to your team. Was this one of those games? Or was this just the Breds just getting pounded on? I'm hearing differing answers about that from the folks I know from up on The Hill.
