A Year Ago Today

To put it mildly, was one of the worst days for me and my family. I really wasn't supposed to be around on September 6. Nevertheless, I persisted; with the help of family, friends, and a whole passel of medical staff.

 

And while I give him a lot of good-natured grief; take a guess who was there to help my family get through it. On his birthday.
