November 27, 200619 yr That's actually a darned tough schedule. Both USC and Wake re-load, and Nevada's not a push over. 1 Question - Where in the heck is Oklahoma!?!
November 27, 200619 yr That's actually a darned tough schedule. Both USC and Wake re-load, and Nevada's not a push over. 1 Question - Where in the heck is Oklahoma!?! I wouldn't consider that a tough schedule. USC is going to be great, but Nevada and Wake just don't scare me, of course I consider Wake a flash in the pan. Two difficult games and a weak division does not make it cut throat. Nebraska should lose two games at most next year.

They don't play Oklahoma and Texas during the same regular season. They play one for a few years and then play the other. In '08 they'll play OU and not Texas. However, this year, they'll play USC, Texas and Oklahoma in the same season. If they beat OU, they'll get a BCS game, therefore playing yet another tough team.
November 28, 200619 yr Nice schedule, you could tell right away it wasn't an SEC OOC schedule.   Oh RP...

November 28, 200619 yr HSSB and Hard Rock Fan, Im not sure if you guys are aware of it but the huskers have Virginia Tech on the schedule for 08 in Lincoln and 09 in Blacksburg. Also have a home an home with UCLA in 2011-2012. Also got one together with Tennessee way down the road in 2016 and 2017. Steve Pederson has done a great job with the schedule.
November 28, 200619 yr That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.... It'll be interesting to compare later.
November 28, 200619 yr Wake is a nice OOC pickup IMO. Ball State is a cupcake, but at least it isn't a D1AA school.. Nice schedule IMO, and seeing they do not play a couple of the big dawgs in conference, I think they will fare well. Does Taylor return?

No, but Sam Keller former starting qb from Arizona St will step in as the starter. From a talent standpoint, Keller will be better than Taylor. Ball State might be a cupcake but they did play the #2 Michigan Wolverines to a close game up in Ann Arbor this year. The Wake game is a return game, Wake came to NU to play last year. The only big dawg we dont play in conference next year is the sooners.
