November 28, 200619 yr Wake Forest's record over the past 3 years: 2003 - 5-7 2004 - 4-7 2005 - 4-7 Yes this year they have only lost 2 but they really haven't beaten anyone either. I am just not ready to put them in elite status after one good year against less then stellar opponents. Why not? Everybody does that with Notre Dame. I'm not saying that they'll be good next year. Who knows? But just because they've been bad in the past doesn't mean anything. Look at Louisville and Florida. They scheduled Miami and Florida St because they've had good seasons lately. So they were trying to play a conference leader and it didn't work out. They shouldn't be criticized for it.

And I not give Notre Dame credit for anything. I personally think they are one of the most overrated teams in the country.

This might be the start of a good thing there. But then again, it might not be. Come August I'll either agree with you or disagree even more, based on how they look before the season.
November 28, 200619 yr Author A better place for this would be on Huskerpreps.com Sorry, we'll try and limit all conversations to colleges that reside in KY.
November 28, 200619 yr A better place for this would be on Huskerpreps.com Hadn't heard of it until you mentioned it.
November 28, 200619 yr I assume he made it up. Yep. Nothing on Google for huskerpreps.com. I thought this was a college forum, which meant ANYTHING college. I guess that means no more Michigan, OSU, USC, Florida or any other university talk.
November 28, 200619 yr Wake Forest should be very good next season, they should be healthy..at least early...and they are currently young.
November 28, 200619 yr kidding guys relax, if talking about Huskers is your thing have at it and just ignore me taking a lazy jab
November 28, 200619 yr kidding guys relax, if talking about Huskers is your thing have at it and just ignore me taking a lazy jab Lazy jab = buzzing flies to me. I would love to have a huskersprep.com to talk all things Huskers. But it doesn't exist, so we have to stick with BGP.
November 29, 200619 yr Wake Forest should be very good next season, they should be healthy..at least early...and they are currently young. They redshirted all of their freshman this year so they should be good for years to come. Also, Zac Taylor was named Big 12 Offensive POY and Adam Carriker was named Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the year. Numerous other huskers were named to all big 12 teams.
November 29, 200619 yr I wouldn't consider that a tough schedule. USC is going to be great, but Nevada and Wake just don't scare me, of course I consider Wake a flash in the pan. Two difficult games and a weak division does not make it cut throat. Nebraska should lose two games at most next year. With the way that Coach Grobe is building the Wake program I don't consider them a "flash in the pan", red shirting practically all freshmen and building that way - I belive that this years team is the first senior class that he has from that theory. November 29, 200619 yr Author Also, Zac Taylor was named Big 12 Offensive POY :thumb: :thumb: Huge accomplishment for the guy that most hadn't heard of 18 months ago, and most on here were scoffing at when I was talking him up back in the Summer. Granted, Adrian Peterson getting hurt made it a no-brainer, but I bet there are plenty of burnt-orange clad folks in Austin who thought Colt would win it right out of the gate.
