No way Boise State should be in. I think everyone would agree if they played in any of the BCS conferences, they wouldn't be close to undefeated. I am not trying to take away from what they did this year, but no one can convince me that they are better than the teams in the big conferences. They just don't have the athletes, I watched them play the other night, and they definetly aren't as big or strong as the majority of teams in major conferences.

Boise State, if this playoff was real, would have to be considered. Regardless of your opinion of their competition, the fact remains they are are a D1 school that is undefeated.

If this is supposed to be the best 8 teams in the country battling for a playoff, why wouldn't strength of schedule be a part of the equation? In order for this to be fair, you can't just say, because they are undefeated they deserve to play for a National title. SOS has to play a part in this.

This gets back to my thought on the matter. If you are a non-BCS school and want to make it to the big show, I believe you should be required to play either 2 or 3 BCS schools, one of which should be on the road. (Also, I think it should be a requirement that every team in a BCS conference plays at least one non-conference road game against a BCS school).

I like that bracket, lets go with it.:thumb:
I like it too.

tO$U defeats Arkansas

Louisville defeats Florida

Michigan defeats LSU

USC defeats Boise State

tO$U defeats Louisville (they'd hang though.)

Michigan defeats USC (Sorry, USC, but Michigan actually HAS cornerbacks.)

Michigan defeats tO$U (it's tough to beat a good team twice.)

BSU has to be in if they're undefeated.

I would like to see a 12 team playoff though. That should certainly cover all the legit contenders, and it gives an advantage to your top 4 schools, which are most likely to win anyway.

With the current votes, a standard bracket would look like this:

1)tO$U

8)Arkansas

4)Florida

5)Louisville

3)Michigan

6)LSU

2)USC

7)Boise State

Your brackets don't look too bad 02. It will be interseting to see who/what is decided by the end ofthis coming weeknd. Maybe after this weekend someone could post the "elite 8" bracket and we can have a new vote on the playoffs with each round. With what you have now I would put THE Ohio State vs. Fla. and USC vs. LSU (upset) in the semi finals. Buckeyes vs. USC in the NC with THE Ohio State Buckeyes winning the national title.Of cours week by week my picks could change.
