Louisville 48 Pitt 24

What, no thread yet?

Brohm was killer, 20-29 for 338 yds and 4 TDs (8 different guys caught passes, 4 caught multiple passes, 3 caught TDs and 2 had more than 100 yards.)

And that's with TWO touchdowns called back by penalties that had no effect on the plays (for the record, they were good calls, just boneheaded moves.)

Woodson's better than Brohm...

Kind of started off slow but finally got it going in the 3rd...The Pitt fans were complaining that we were cheaters because of some calls on the field... Anyways, gonna have a good time tonight...:D

They got hosed on the replay. I'll admit that.

Just need to beat UConn to have that shot at the BCS. I think WVU will recover to beat Rutgers and help punch that ticket for the Cards.

They were complaining the whole time...You're at home, get over it...

Did #66 Mike Donughue get any action today?

Predicted the Pitt upset. Wrong on that one.

I had to miss this one, but I'm very happy with the results. GO CARDS!!!

I looked at that fumble replay over and over...as a Cards fan I would sya that I can see how it was no catch...as a Pitt fan I would say it was...it was hard to say....really, it could've gone either way and I would have lived with it.

It was a catch, he was shifting the ball to a running position. That's my opinion.

..I could see that, except that the ball had an awkward position while he was trying to put it away (which he never did).

I saw a two handed, sure catch, and then the ball flipped while he was moving it to the cradle. So I saw possesion, and a 'football move.'

My Dad, by the way, had this to say about 'football moves' at the U of L game last weekend, after they ruled a catch incomplete:

"That was a football move- he fell down! I see that in football ALL the TIME!"

What made the call so bad was that it was overturned from being a completion (was it not ruled a catch initially). How could anyone find "indisputable evidence."?

Anyways, good win for UL. Took care of business and looking to be in solid shape for a good bowl.

I think it was a catch too. That call really surprised me.

Good win for the cards. Hope for the same against U Conn. Now if WVU would just get their act together and do their part!

Good season for the Cards and here is a Cat fan hoping they get a bid in a BCS game.:thumb: :thumb:
