Do Boone or Ryle bring anything at all to the table to be able to compete with Conner/Cooper? Or, is it all those 2 yet again...

I can only speak for Boone, but they will be much improved over last year. More size, better shooting all around and more ball handlers in the lineup, plus the new coach has them pushing the ball down the floor. This group took their lumps last year but gained a lot of varsity experience. Tate Hermann at center is legit 6’6”, with Leon Cleary at 6’4” adding to the front line. Parker Fields has grown a couple of inches this summer and stands 6’3”. Dakota Finn and Cole Shumate at the guard spots will give us ballhandling at both places. Preston Malone is a quick scorer, along with senior Adam Hicks who was the JV leading scorer last year. They’ll be a lot more competitive than last year and will surprise some people.

Cov Cath won’t lose a NKY game over next two years. Beechwood loses a lot and Cov Cath reloads. Cov Cath will be a lot better than last year.

 

I saw Mitchell Riley from Beechwood play this summer and he is about 6'5" and plays like it. Will be a very big contributer for Beechwood this year.
