Beechwood wins their second consecutive All A State Championship by defeating KCD (14-2 record) by an 8-1 final score. The Tigers extend their season record to 23-1. Hope someone has game stats.

Holliday pitched really well. Got a little wild the inning that KCD scored. All in all a great tournament by Beechwood they pitched and hit extremely well and their defense was solid as always.

Freshman Brett Holliday extends his record to 5-0. Understand he is a solid contact pitcher backed up by some pretty stellar defense.

Congrats! Get some well earned rest on the trip back.

Wow! What an impressive tournament for Beechwood. Congratulations on the repeat.

Congrats!

Congratulations Tigers! If I am not mistaken, Logan Castleman will graduate with six rings, 3 for football and 3 for baseball. Can’t have a better high school career than that!

Sure hope someone has stats for this game and tournament to post on this thread. Perhaps they are on the road for the long, happy trip back home.

Holiday with the complete game 7 hitter, allows only the 1 earned run.

Odom, Hutton, and Doverspike each with 2 RBI's.

Beechies down 1 - 0 heading to bottom of 4th when they plated 5 runs.

Congrats Tigers!

What an amazing baseball program.

Is this 3 All A baseball championships? I know they won last year. Did they win it 2 years ago also?

Ah, I wasn't thinking about the title his freshman year. Was he a starter on that baseball team as a freshman?

He started out the year as the starting SS, then moved to LF for the remainder of his freshman season. He may have also played a little 2nd Base.
