Auburn 89 Kansas 75

Featured Replies

Talk about a total smackdown. I didn't watch the last 10 mins but Auburn looked almost flawless in that first half.

Even to begin the 2nd half was incredible, I think both teams combined to go 12 for 12 shooting to open the half. Auburn had a few turnovers during that run but were 5/5 shooting while Kansas was 7/7.

That is two weeks in a row that Auburn has looked unbeatable, first Tennessee and now Kansas.

I like Bruce Pearl quite a bit, so I am happy to see him get Auburb back in the Sweet 16. And even happier it kicked Bill Self and Kansas out.

I like Pearl much more than Self also.

When all the testimony is done this spring, is there a chance this was Self's last game at Kansas?

Good question. My buddy asked me the same thing last night. Initial hunch, hes back.

This game was so much fun to watch. If Auburn is going to keep shooting threes like that, look out. When was the last time two teams went over 100 in an NCAA game? It could happen if Auburn faces North Carolina, which should happen.

That game will be a lot of fun as long as Auburn is hitting. Hopefully Auburn is still hot that game before cooling off and having an off night in the elite 8 lol.

My initial thought is he's gone but then again Sean Miller has survived at Arizona so who knows.

Has he? Many seem to think he’s coached his last game there.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all.

That was an incredible offensive performance by Auburn. They could have beaten anyone in America last night.

And how many games in a row is that now that Auburn has played like that? In other words, that wasn't a fluke. They are hot. It won't be unexpected if they play the same way against UNC.

I didn't see their opening game, but didn't they struggle to win?

They were in control but in the last 2 minutes did everything they could to blow it with turnovers.
