As expected.

Cards now get get at least a week off before the dance.

Unpopular opinion: I’m gonna miss Luke Maye.

Despite the fact that the loss was expected, the Cards still looked awfully uninspired in this one. Lots of really poorly selected and poorly executed shots.

The refs were really whistle-happy for most of the second half too. Yeesh.

I disagree they looked uninspired.

And they have taken terrible shots in every game this season, win or lose. Just something you live with watching this team.

Probably should have worded that differently. Disorderly, rather than uninspired.

And I agree that they've been taking a lot of bad shots this season. Maybe it just seemed a little more apparent to me since they were up against UNC tonight. Who knows.

V.J. King is steadily improving.

Don’t let him suck you back in. :lol2:

Wow, I saw something completely different -- they competed like heck, were much better on the glass than the last time they played the Heels, and would have beaten a lot of teams last night. UNC, when dialed in and executing, is an entirely different level of speed and quickness. No shame in losing to them, but UL hung around all night and made run after run.

They looked helpless defensively in the first 10 minutes of the game. Mack himself said he may have had too many guys crashing the offensive glass early on and at the under 12, started sending three guys back to get set defensively rather than two. I understand the thought, but UNC is too good in transition.

That 10-point halftime deficit was then too much to overcome. Onwards. Hoping for a 7-seed in a friendly bracket.

I think North Carolina is a big threat to win the NCAA tourney this year. They have all the pieces to do it. Other than the UK game they’ve impressed me in all other games I’ve seen them play this year.

He has so much potential though. I hope he continues to improve.

The poor shot selection is a trademark of a Chris Mack coached team.

No wonder he fits in so well at Louisville, because that's been going on here for a long time. :lol2:

His last 5 years at Xavier his offense was never lower than 46th in the country in points per possession, 3x in the top 20 (2015, 2016, and 2018) -- sign me up for that kind of "trademark" in Louisville.
