The StarTribune in Minneapolis predicts UK to the Independence Bowl versus Kansas St.

ESPN has two prognosticators: one predicts UK to the Motor City Bowl with a rematch with Central Michigan, the other to the Music City Bowl versus Boston College.

Many of these predictions were before this weekend's games, but frankly, I'm not sure UK's win did much to impress folks.

If I were UK, I would hate to play Central Michigan. They are a better team, have better players, and have a better coach.

I'm really surprised that they would omit them. That they wouldn't make a bowl has never crossed my mind. I really can't believe that they would leave out UK with how well their fans travel. It's all about the money, not how good the team is usually.

 

But yeah, if they're looking for quality teams, UK sure didn't impress this last weekend.

The way I understand it, 6 - 6 teams cannot be picked over teams that are 7 - 5 or better. UK goes bowling before Bama.

 

Also, the Liberty Bowl has made it quite clear that UK is their pick, so the Cats can't "fall" to the Independence Bowl.

The MSNBC one is old, unless they think Rutgers is going to beat WVU... but then they wouldn't list WVU as a candidate for the Rose Bowl.

FoxSports has UL going to the Orange Bowl against GTech, and MSNBC has us going back to the Gator Bowl...I'd rather go to Miami than Jacksonville again.

If The Cards dont make a BCS bowl I think they will go to the Sun Bowl. I think they are BCS Bound. WVU will beat Rutgers.
