h.s.sportsrbest
Many of these predictions were before this weekend's games, but frankly, I'm not sure UK's win did much to impress folks. Here's hoping they end up in Nashville!

If I were UK, I would hate to play Central Michigan. They are a better team, have better players, and have a better coach.
DragonFire
I'm really surprised that they would omit them. That they wouldn't make a bowl has never crossed my mind. I really can't believe that they would leave out UK with how well their fans travel. It's all about the money, not how good the team is usually. But yeah, if they're looking for quality teams, UK sure didn't impress this last weekend.
DragonFire
I like how this article displays bowl-eligible teams. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2636227 There are nine teams from the SEC that are bowl eligible. There are eight slots.

There are eight slots. The way I understand it, 6 - 6 teams cannot be picked over teams that are 7 - 5 or better. UK goes bowling before Bama. Also, the Liberty Bowl has made it quite clear that UK is their pick, so the Cats can't "fall" to the Independence Bowl.
02Ram54
The MSNBC one is old, unless they think Rutgers is going to beat WVU... but then they wouldn't list WVU as a candidate for the Rose Bowl.
TheDeuce
FoxSports has UL going to the Orange Bowl against GTech, and MSNBC has us going back to the Gator Bowl...I'd rather go to Miami than Jacksonville again.
