What is all the white along sidelines and beyond endzones?

It's part of the underlying surface. Not sure of the material.

Stopped by last night before heading to church and it looks great.

Can't believe they went with gold endzones instead of purple. That would have been really sweet.

That's one of the best stadiums in the state. Ive been to many games there. It looks good!

I agree, but with everything else inside the track being purple the endzones being gold makes sense.

 

I'd have gone all Boise State and made the field purple!

For as long as there has been football played on this field, there have been elementary and middle school kids playing their own game below the south endzone. Whether using a nerf ball, wadded up cups from the concession stand or actual football... there is always a game of 2 on 2, 4 on 4 or more going on. A nice nod by the administration to this tradition by giving them their very own little filed to play on.

As an alum and a former coach there, I can say I am proud of that turf and looks great.

My first thought was, "man that looks sharp". My second thought was, "man that's a lot of purple".

 

Glad to see that it's done in time for the opener.

Never been a fan of Somerset but man do I love the Kidzone !!!!! Absolutely great idea.

My first thought was “that’s the wrong shade of purple, by a lot”. Still an awesome field though.
