November 15, 200619 yr Oak Hill turned him down, and he is considered the best senior in the country. Why would they do that? :sssh:
November 15, 200619 yr Everything with Mayo has been super-shady since his days back at Rose Hill. I couldn't imagine being a college coach and wanting to take on all that baggage.

November 15, 200619 yr I was reading this on rivals.com and was wondering who you thought it would be? Said that Tubby had 2 recruits and the UK/Georgia football game. Any thoughts?? Moses?? Patterson?? Lucas?? Mayo?? Tubby realized I had two seasons of eligibility remaining and talked me into going to graduate school
November 15, 200619 yr So it doesnt look like we will have a mystery recruit sign today. Patterson and Lucas both said they will wait until the spring. Which is usually what happens in UK recruiting, we always have to be patient. Good news is that Marshal Moses has passed his test scores. He is going to visit UK and NC St. I believe he is a UK lean from all he has said. I think he could be a very underrated recruit based on what Ive heard from him recently. Thats also a little wishful thinking as well!

Yeah there is no way a college coach would want a top 3 player. So far his teams have proven to be winners even if he is a cancer. IMO until what he does effects W/L's then he shouldn't be considered a cancer.

UK seems to have some team chemistry now. IMO, Mayo would only screw it up. The old saying is it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel.

Given, he's a true talent, but team chemistry trumps talent in my book. Especially since Mayo would have one eye on the door.

People are just worried about him being uncoachable and also all the baggage he could bring to a team. Hes been in 3 different high schools during his 4 years. I think that is something that should be considered. Also, he is only a 1 year player at best. There is a lot of negatives with him even though he is a superb talent on the court.

I don't think people take into consideration that the circus that he is traveling with is most likely making him do all this. I feel sorry for the kid actually. His life is run by a few people trying to make a buck off him.
November 15, 200619 yr I love how the 18% doesn't want Mayo. If he was coming or even showed interest in UK, this wouldn't be the talk.

The years he spent at Rose Hill were grade school and middle school.
