January 7, 20197 yr Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for Michigan... Greg Mattison is the new DC at OSU. Day also hires former 49ers DB coach Jeff Hafley to be the co-DC. Day is trying to grab another Michigan coach as well. Go to New Jersey already Jim.
January 7, 20197 yr Author Day also added former Oklahoma St OC, the new OC/passing game coordinator at OSU. After ranking 36th in S&P+ in 2013, then 78th in 2014, Oklahoma State’s offense climbed to 19th in 2015, then ranked in the top 10 each of the past three years. It peaked at No. 3 in 2017 with Mason Rudolph at quarterback. Yurcich helped develop Rudolph into a Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner who was chosen in this third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
January 8, 20197 yr I cannot imagine leaving Michigan to go to OSU...or vice versa...seems treasonous....

January 8, 20197 yr I cannot imagine leaving Michigan to go to OSU...or vice versa...seems treasonous.... I don't think that move endeared Bo Schembechler to Woody Hays.
January 8, 20197 yr As far as the two DC last year (Schiano and Grinch), Day told them they could stay on staff but neither would run the defense. Day is reworking the entire defensive staff minus Larry Johnson who was just promoted to Associate Head Coach.
January 8, 20197 yr And here I was led to believe last offseason that Schiano was such an amazing coach and any program would be lucky to have him running the show. :lol2:
January 8, 20197 yr If he gets Al Williams to take over the LB duties they will have a pretty good lineup even it does mean we took 2 coaches from TTUN!

January 8, 20197 yr Author Breaking: Ohio State will hire Al Washington. Wow! Day just took a rising star and Michigan’s elite recruiter. Zach Harrison, the 5 star product from Columbus almost went to Michigan because of Al Washington alone. What a great day to be a Buckeye!

Any chance these guys want out of Michigan because they are expecting changes coming soon at Michigan?

January 8, 20197 yr Any chance these guys want out of Michigan because they are expecting changes coming soon at Michigan? In the words of John O Korn, “it’s the not the program we don’t like.”
January 8, 20197 yr Author Any chance these guys want out of Michigan because they are expecting changes coming soon at Michigan? It’s possible, Harbaugh was trying to give Washington any title he wanted to stay.
January 8, 20197 yr You listen to too much Clay Travis. Nope. Don't listen to him, or any other sports radio anymore. You guys were adamant last offseason that he was a great coach. If that were true, which it wasn't, why did Ohio State show him the door?
