November 11, 200619 yr Author According to the Cats Pause the following bowls had reps at the UK game today: Music City Liberty Peach Outback Independence
November 12, 200619 yr Great game, the defense was bend dont break all day long. Offensively our skill players are amazing out there. Our line is not great, but have gotten better. Keenan Burton is amazing out there! Little and Woodson couldnt have been much better!
November 12, 200619 yr Earl Bennett had another huge day against UK. 220 yards receiving. Think about it. UK had verbal committments from both Bennett and Mario Urritia. Both signed elsewhere. Either one of those guys tandemed with Burton would have been neat to see.
November 12, 200619 yr Was proud of David Jones for doing everything he could in the first half. He played less in the 2nd half. Apparently Jones was puking on the sideline and ill with influenza. Brooks seems to be giving him every chance to be the #3 at WR but Ford and Johnson also contributed today. UK looks good at WR.
November 12, 200619 yr Urrutia looks like a stronger Plexico Burress to me. That guy is going to make ALOT of money very soon. If I were him, I go pro after this season!
November 12, 200619 yr It was a tough game weather-wise to go to, but it made it all worth to see the Cats become bowl-eligible! How about the gutsy call in the fourth quarter on third down where Woodson threw the bomb to Burton to clinch the win. In the past UK football would have been playing not to lose in that situation and would have just ran the football and punted. However, Brooks/Phillips went for the knockout blow and got it. We are going bowling!:ylsuper:
November 12, 200619 yr IMO these are their possiblities: Outback Peach Liberty Music City Georgia beating Auburn may have hurt UK's chances at the Outback. Not if the Cats win their last two games. I wouldn't lay money on it, but it could happen.
November 12, 200619 yr Great win for the Cats today. .Before the season I said that they would win 5 at the most so I will gladly have my plate of crow on this one................................again! As a matter of fact I am developing quite a taste for that dish by now.
November 12, 200619 yr Nice win for the Cats!! The possibility of a Bowl is a big confidnece builder for the players and should make them hungry for more success. It has been a long time since the talk about KY football in November was positive so the program seems to be going in the right direction. Good luck Cats!!!!! Keep working!
November 12, 200619 yr Author Here are the SEC East Standings after todays games...pretty nice to see the Cats in the 2nd spot in November. Florida 7-1 9-1 Kentucky 4-3 6-4 Georgia 4-4 7-4 Tennessee 3-3 7-3 South Carolina 3-5 5-5 Vanderbilt 1-6 4-7

Florida 7-1 9-1 Kentucky 4-3 6-4 Georgia 4-4 7-4 Tennessee 3-3 7-3 South Carolina 3-5 5-5 Vanderbilt 1-6 4-7 Georgia is done with SEC play and UK has one game. UT has two games remaining (at Vandy and hosting UK). At worst, UK will be 3rd in the SEC East.
November 12, 200619 yr UK has the most SEC wins they have had since 1992!! That is 14 years!!!! With all this youth, the future looks awfully bright right now! It is nice to have 2 D1 teams with winning records and heading to bowl games this postseason in our state!
