Seattle 21 Minnesota 7

Featured Replies

I happened to turn on Monday Night Football, Minnesota at Seattle. Now I know where my bag of highlighters went.

Reminiscent of that KC/LAR game.

In only that way!

Boring but close until the end.

The Vikes had their chances to win the game.

I’m fairly certain that the Vikings are allergic to consistent quarterback play. Still recovering from that rash that showed up during the Favre season...

The last 2 seasons between Keenum and now Cousins. They have had better QB play than most teams in the NFL. Both QBs have been in the top 10 in almost every QB category the last 2 seasons for the Vikings.

So they have had more consistent QB play the last 2 seasons than the majority of the NFL.

The Vikings offensive line is atrocious. Cousins definitely needs to play better but he seems be under pressure and gets flushed out of the pocket nearly every play. The Seattle D came to play.

Both Cousins and Keenum are good statistically, but not the type of QB that can lead your team anywhere. Personally I would take Keenum because he has more winning intangibles about him. Said it at the time of the acquisition. Cousins is a prime example of how fantasy football distorts the true image of what kind of player he really is. Cousins is a .500 QB that puts up empty stats, makes crucial turnovers when you least need it, and looks like a deer in headlights at crunch time. I can't recall how many times at the end of halves in Washington he would lose sight of the clock and mismanage the situation. Sure, the Washington infrastructure was poor, but he should have been able to overcome some of the negatives if he is that guy.

It's really just always been frustrating to share a division with the Packers. While Minnesota has basically bumbled around, getting a couple years here and there from some random guy, Green Bay has had Favre and Rodgers and really them only for the last 25 years.

I rarely watch them anymore as, like my father before me, I'm convinced that they'll never win a Super Bowl. It's just not in the cards. He spent his high school, college, and early adult years watching the Vikings lose four Super Bowls. I spent mine watching them lose NFC playoff games. It's just never going to come together for them.

I watch about 3-4 games a year now. Hard to get too excited when I ultimately know what the outcome will be.

I can't argue that, because that is how I feel about Dalton. Yet Dalton doesn't even have the top 10 statistics to go with it like a Cousins has had. Dalton has had more to work with than Cousins has over his career, and yet besides 2015 really hasn't even put up that good of numbers.

So I definitely get what you are saying about not being able to get anywhere with him, because that is my feelings on Dalton.

Hey even though it was by a miracle, at least they have won a playoff game recently lol. Shoot at least they have won multiple playoff games, since the last time the Bengals have won a playoff game.

Gotta love you FC...you find a way to blast Dalton in a thread about the Seahawks-Vikings game...LOL

Nobody can question your consistency on your dislike of AD:)!!
