I was busy all day yesterday and no computer. Congratulations to Danville on a great game plan and on the players executing. Good luck and bring our district back another state championship. Tall Trees it's sad when you have to root for another team to beat somebody you couldn't. Gotta go adjust my fantasy teams.

 

I got beat by both teams, Danville twice and alot worse than we lost to Frankfort. I actually did not care either way, if I did I would have came to the game. I saw every game that both of them played this year that was enough to do me. I still have nightmares about trying to stop both of them.

Congratulations to the FHS Panthers on an exciting season, such a pleasure to watch. Best of luck in the future to the 4 year seniors Antoine Robinson, Josh Smith and Cameron Jouett. I hope Jouett is okay after going down with what looked like an ankle injury. Good Luck Admirals as you move ahead down that play-off road.

After a night of no sleep to reflect on the game two things stand out in my mind.

1. Why does Danville not stay in the bone?

 

That question gets asked quite a bit.

Domination...........hey, where is Hip Hop Box???????? Danville did exactly what they needed to do tonight defensively-Perry is a freakin genius! Fields cannot throw the ball AT ALL; once they were forced to throw it they were in serious trouble. Lots of plays come to mind from watching the game but here are my top 6:

 

First interception by Morris; set the tone!

Strode for about 90 yards to make it 13-0; heck of a run!

Macon's pick at the end of the half that he almost returns for a td; Fields makes a tackle or Ads lead at least 19-0 at half

blocked punt for a safety-HUGE momentum swing back to Danville

Strode's last td run right after (I believe) Franfort scored their only points of the night.

Macon scoops up a fumbled pitch and rumbles in for a td...looked like #21 made no effort to catch the pitch from Fields.

By the way, anyone that knows anything about football and watched the defense noticed #56, Hughes. He DOMINATED up front and absolutely destroyed the Panthers' center on numerous occasions. He was held practically on every play in my opinion. Also, Frankfort may have speed(2 or 3 guys) but Danville has TEAM SPEED; that defense was absolutely flying to the ball on every play!

 

Home for the Regionals! I am still in shock!!!!!!!!!!! Just knew if we won I would have to look at purple and gold; way to go Eagles!!!!

I wouldn't go so far to say that Fields can't throw at all, it is obvious that he struggled but the boy does have a decent arm, a little more work he will do just fine in big games such as this. As brillant a game that the Ads played I wouldn't say their passing was hitting on all cylinders. And if it doesn't improve it may come back to bite the Ads. So let's don't put the kids down that way, after all, they all are still developing their skills.

I would go so far to say that Fields can't throw at all. It is obvious that the boy struggled during the game. He has a decent arem and with experience he will be better prepared for big games such as this was. As brillant of a game that the Ads prepare for and played I wouldn't say their passing game was hitting on all cylinders. If it does not improve it will come back to bite them and at this point i am pulling for them with go all the way and win it all. But remember that all these kids are still developing from freshman up to seniors so let's be careful with our criticism and not put the kids down that way. Sorry if this is out here twice i don't know where the firt version went.

If he work hard at it this off-season look for frankfort to have a 15-0 season.

In the win against Danville I don't remember him throwing any Td Passes! I might be wrong,but all I can remember were rushing Tds!

I agree with Old School. Fields doesn't have a very good arm. No accuracy at all.

Fields will stay at QB. That way he has the ball every play.
