Danville 35 Frankfort 6

Featured Replies

Just back from the game. Was a very impressive gameplan by Danville. Frankfort had nothing for the ADS. Danville lined up and ran though Frankfort. My guess is that Strode had over 200 yards. Ads total had probally 300 ruching yards. Danvilles defense hit hard and contained all night except for Danvilles lone touchdown drive. Have to give it to Frankfort's Robinson he is a heck of a player. Great game.........and thanks to Frankfort for waking up the sleeping giant a few weeks ago!

Did Danville run right at Frankfort? Did they run much wishbone?

Yeah alot of double-tight wishbone.

Thanks :thumb:

They just lined up and ran right at them. That just shows how much emotion plays a role in football. Two different teams from the first game to tonight. Its the little things.

Hats off to Danville, they did what the do best and that is old scholl football. Wishbone double tight. Little advice to coach Harp..... Stay with the bone you have more options.......

Defensively Danville was smart by putting more speed on the field so they could make plays.

Even when the score was 13-0 at the begining of 3rd quarter FHS got a 3 and out. Next play Robinson ran 20 yards, called back on a penalty. IMO that was a huge sing of mojo. Then they just rolled. Good Luck the rst of season.

Hats off to the Panthers continue to learn and build on losses.

The Danville Defense was outstanding. Frankfort broke a few big runs, but penaltys brought them back. Also a couple of turnovers and big special teams play that lead to a safety.

Congrats to the ADS to rebound from the horrible taste in your mouth, proved your point... now don't get the big head and let Bethlehem beat you as they did Bardstown.

Bethlehem will be ready so bring it on. We will see you at the Eagles Nest.

The game will be at Danville! Admiral Stadium!

Great job Ads.....the cream rises to the top once again.

Keep it up.

Other than CoachB (who is a stand up guy), where are all the other Frankfort fans tonight?

All joking aside, the Ads played a brilliant game tonight. It's hard to believe this is the same team that played FHS 3 weeks ago. The keys to the game in my opinion were:

1. The Ads defense did a superb job at limiting Frankfort's ability to get to the outside. The D always seemed to have someone there to make the Frankfort runners have to switch direction and thus never get up to full speed.

2. AHHHHH the wishbone, such a magnificent thing to behold. The group of guys I go to the games with has been asking for this set all year long. Frankfort simply had no answer for the wishbone tonight.

3. Ball control. Danville had some nice sustained drives that ate up a lot of clock and seemed to wear down Frankfort's D over the course of the game. In the 4th quarter, they looked really gassed. Of course, Danville's D looked pretty tired too.

4. Tackling. Other than a late Frankfort drive, the Ads defense did a very good job tackling tonight.

First of all I would like to give a big Congratulations to frankfort on a great season! Those guys seem like very good kids and are well coached! Danville as much as I hate to say it they needed that loss three weeks ago! Also having a week off the last week of the season help the players get rested and refocused!Goodluck next week ADs!

Congratulations Ads on the win, sounds like you guys are back on track just like Mayfield. We too have been seeing a little of the ol' wishbone, ;)

Frankforts away bleachers should be torn down before someone gets seriously Hurt! We were just talking a few weeks about those rickety bleachers. One of the foot benches actully fell in behind me! We almost lost TTClown and his brother in law Admiral 1983! The last time we were at Frankfort TTClown and I were leaving the game we were being heckled by some of the Frankfort fans down by the street entrance! I don't recall any of those guys saying anything to us on our way out this evening!:ylsuper:
