Anyway, let's hear what you think....besides LT has a field day, which I think we all assume. Can the Bengals get a lead and make Rivers bring the Bolts back? That appears to be their only chance, as I see it. Announcers, Gumbel and Dierdorf. The Sporting News picked Cincy because of SD's struggling pass rush without Merriman and now Castillo and their weak secondary. Did anyone realize that no back has gone for 100+ vs. the Bengals since NE's Maroney?
November 12, 200619 yr Castillo isn't out for sure, but Merriman's suspension and it looks like Shaun Phillips is still out for the Chargers as well. That has weakened the pass rush. The pass defense is still suspect. That being said, the Chargers can be one of the top ball-control offenses in the league, and should be able to wear out the Bengals. I'll predict San Diego 27, Cincinatti 24.

It's been the offense losing TOP every game that is killing the defense. That and they can't get off the field on 3rd down.
