I appreciate updates on all NK middle school games - a good # of the parochials don't play in the NKMSAA so it's nice to hear about those teams and players. Frankly I'd like to make it out to see some of those teams play.

Turkeyfoot 6th come from 10 down to beat Camp Ernst by 1 in a great game.

Camp Ernst 7th wins over Turkeyfoot pretty easily.

Turkeyfoot 8th wins over Camp Ernst.

Big game on Monday as 8th Grade Woodland travels to Highlands.

Both teams are 5-0.

I have watched both teams play a lot - i don’t see how woodland even keeps this game close but I’m rooting otherwise - the more physical the game the better chance woodland has!!

Highlands 7th and 8th win by 10 over Woodland. Both games could have went either way...

 

Refs controlled all the 3 games as they always do at Highlands. Foul count was out of wack...in Highlands Favor.

Highlands player clapping in the face of Woodland player multiple times during game. At one point should have been a Tech but Refs once again let it go...Just call a clean and fair game and be consistent. Its very noticeable when your favoring the home team in all 3 games...

Doesn’t that not happen no matter where you play?

The Highlands 8th grade game was 47-29 so I don't think it could have gone either way. After a few minutes in the second quarter it never got closer than 8 points and stretched all the way to the final score.

 

Also, fouls were 16-14 in Highlands favor. Highlands shot 18 FT's and Woodland shot 13 I believe. Refereeing did not have as big of an outcome in this game as is being let on.
