It’s going to be interesting to see how things finish for the Big Ten and Big XII. If each conference champion finishes with one loss, it will be very interesting to see who’s selected if Notre Dame finishes their season undefeated. And the game coming up between Alabama and LSU could make things just as, if not more interesting. If Alabama was to lose, which I highly doubt happens, there could be some twists.

I’m still amazed about people thinking we could have 3 undefeated teams in this years playoff. We’ve had 3 total since the playoffs started and none of them won the title. Long season ahead. This AP Poll looks right to me. I’d move UCF to 15 but other than that it’s fine. Ohio State is 100% where they deserve to be.

While you are correct, it's just hard to see a loss for ND or Clemson based on their schedules here on out. If Bama wins at Death Valley in two weeks, it will be tough to project a loss on them...unless Kentucky gets them in Atlanta. :lol2:

Why? Because they keep winning?

OSU deserves to be further back than they are. That was an abysmal performance against a very average team at best for a team that's supposed to be the cream of the crop in their conference. How they were in the top 2 or even the top 5 is mind boggling.

Did you think Ohio State would lose to Purdue? College football will happen.

It’s a good thing you’re around here RTS. OSU doesn’t have enough people who have an insane dislike of us on here. You humble us after seeing all the love and support from the rest of BGP.

Kentucky has a more impressive road win and their road loss is to a much better team than Ohio State. I’d have the Wildcats ahead of the Buckeyes.

:lol2: My dislike is and always will be them or any team being overrated and ranked over teams they shouldn't be all because they bring in revenue. They have done nothing this season to be ranked where they were and we saw what they were made of last night.

You, on the other hand, have let your bias show against UCF once again simply because now they're ranked ahead of OSU, which they should be. I mean. seriously, if the Irish would have lost to Pitt, I'd be all over them and tell you they were overrated. Why you want to take OSU's loss out on UCF is telling to say the least.

Fact!

You know, I was thinking the same thing looking at this poll.

You were the one spouting off about how OSU won’t drop far enough in the rankings for losing. You were wrong. They fell more than any #2 team has ever fallen in the rankings. Just chill man. You said an undefeated power 5 team shouldn’t have been ranked in the top 5 and you have the audacity to say I’m biased because I think a team with 1/4

of the talent of the rest of the top 25 and a team who literally plays nobody the whole year, should be ranked behind teams who have actually beaten and played people. Ok. Good luck with that one. I don’t hate UCF. I hate that they have convinced themselves they are better than they actually are.

That’s fair. No issue with the Cats ahead of the Buckeyes right now. The Cats are behind 3 teams they should probably be ahead of right now (Florida, UCF, and Ohio State)

Did you think Ohio State would lose to Purdue? College football will happen.

OSU losing to Purdue is college football happening. OSU getting destroyed by Purdue is not college football happening. That’s OSU not being very good right now.

The game got away at the end from OSU making a desperate attempt to come back. I’m not going to make excuses, but the game was still decided on about 4 plays. OSU is not very good right now. Honestly they have flat sucked since Urban got back if I’m being 100% honest. I hear conflicting reports about Urbans involvement with this team. They were rolling with Day, Urban comes back and they all the sudden can’t run the ball. By all accounts, Urban was being as hands off as an offensive minded head coach can be so as to not disrupt the rythym the offense had without him. So if this is true, then Urban is to blame for not stepping in and fixing it, if it’s not true then Urban is still to blame for screwing up a good thing. Either way the blame always falls on the head coach. But we’ve seen this act from OSU before and they’ve rebounded every single time and were playing there best football at the end of the year. Hell last year they got their butts whooped at Iowa and rebounded by absolutely disposing of Michigan State the very next game. Is this the time they don’t turn it around? Time will

tell.
