October 22, 20187 yr Dude, it's just a game to me. I don't let it get to me, it's nothing more than a diversion to pass the time. I enjoy college football, yes. It's not my life, so the hatred thing to me isn't what it is to you. Good luck with your Buckeyes the rest of the way. I hope this is the case with everyone.
October 22, 20187 yr Helped you out a little bit. Stop being so humble haha I'm really not. My point was that any team can be beat on any given day. The issue is which teams deserve to have that chance. I just don't think UCF deserves the chance. Your boys will be o.k. once they heal up on the bye week. Beat Michigan and they are in. I am starting to question the coaching at this point though.

So you willingly waste your time coming on here and arguing with me (knowing good and well you’re not going to win :lol2:), and then say you don’t care? Haha Look man obviously I take this stuff serious and some would argue too seriously. But this is what makes college football so great to me. It’s the sky is falling mentality after 1 loss. It’s unlike any other sport in the world and it’s why I love it so much. There’s always something to debate, there’s constantly new storylines week after week. So yeah I love college football. Yeah I take it very serious. I’ve been hooked on Ohio State football ever since I saw them upset Miami in the National Championship. Hatred makes college football fun though. It’s fun to hate Michigan, it’s fun to hate Alabama (well this actually is more like torture recently). You may deny your hate for Ohio State and that’s fine, but if you took any sort of pleasure in Ohio State losing to Purdue that hate is in there somewhere. Embrace it.

Why do you want me to hate your team so badly? :lol2: I simply have argued that the Big 10 wasn't that good this year and therefore OSU hadn't been proven. I said we saw that they were shown to be not as good as advertised. No, I don't really care that much. Like I told you, if the Irish lose any game the rest of the way before the playoff, I'll tell you they were overrated. It's not going to change my life one way or the other. I do enjoy talking about this and many other things. It's a forum, that's what it's for.
October 22, 20187 yr If others win out, OSU shouldn't be in. No way. So Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Texas, and Ohio State win out. Who you putting in?
October 22, 20187 yr I've honestly never seen a group more obsessed with wanting other people to hate their team. It's really a fascinating dynamic. It fuels us.

October 22, 20187 yr To teams they shouldn't lose to when it comes to rankings. Absolutely! Fundamental disagreement. Every team in the country is overrated every year except Bama.
October 22, 20187 yr Fuels you for what? You ain't playing... :lol2: Fuels us to come on here and tell you how wrong you are all the time Deuce. :lol2:
October 22, 20187 yr I've honestly never seen a group more obsessed with wanting other people to hate their team. It's really a fascinating dynamic. It's sad. It's not life or death. It's a sport. It's nothing more than a form of entertainment. People who take it so seriously that a loss by their team ruins their day/weekend, etc. is just sad. In addition to that, why do people care so much if people like or dislike their team? I'm a Michigan fan. I'm a UK basketball fan. Don't care one way or another if someone dislikes my teams. Doesn't impact my life any. :idunno:
October 22, 20187 yr So Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Texas, and Ohio State win out. Who you putting in? If Bama, Clemson and Notre Dame win out, they're in. If either Texas or Oklahoma win out, no way should the Buckeyes jump them. We both know they will never put UCF any higher than 6th or 7th if that. I think a 2 loss LSU or Georgia is better than the Buckeyes, but that won't matter. Like I said, no matter what, they always keep OSU in striking range for the playoff and the reason is the money they bring in.

Is Purdue football just entertainment to Tyler Trent?
